new Dharamsala in Bhatwan, Bhamlada on 9th April, 2008.
In rural areas of developing countries, Medical checkup camps for children are absolutely
necessary as very often children in poor rural families don't get proper attention health
This is due to ignorance of parents about certain basic facts about children's health.
The government health centers are not adequate to the need of the common people.
The missionary zeal necessary for country is usually missing in government health workers.
I understand that development projects to be successful, have to be comprehensive, with
wide dimension society. I believe that Physical health is an important part of success of
any project in the light of all round development.
There can be no proper cultural development in a society where the health of children is
neglected keeping this in mind Prabal Pramanik's Academy of Arts has taken up programme of
free health checkup of rural children. On 9th April 2008, an important health checkup camp
was organized at the New Dharamsala in Bhatwan, Bhamlada.
Dr. Vinod Garnal and Mr. Devender Sharma from Bharadwaj Medical Stores took very important
roles in the successful programme of this medical camp.
No money was charged for the checkup and medicine was distributed absolutely free of
Medical exhibition of nearly hundred children were conducted, and the particulars of the
checkup were entered on medical record sheets would be used for future medical camps.
Medicine was distributed free of charges.
Dr. Vinod Garnal gave his time and labour for this noble social cause. Shri Devender
Sharma arranged for the medicine and was the convener for the work. Mr. Vijay Sharma
(Rasotra) and other volunteers did important work for community event for social welfare.
